About me
Since 2006, Jeffrey has been a middle school and high school classroom teacher, an instructional coach, a building-level and district-level department chair, a secondary school writing center director, a county-wide literacy consultant, a project, problem, and place-based learning enthusiast, and a leader of professional learning for teachers locally and nationally. His writing, advocacy, coaching, and teaching practice focus on building humanized, student-centered spaces through culturally responsive curriculum and pedagogy, fair and equitable grading and assessment practices, equity-based disciplinary literacies through project, problem, and place-based learning, and transformative justice.
