How do we cultivate a sense of sanctuary in an era of displacement? This interactive workshop explores how to use place-based poetry to help students navigate identity and belonging. Drawing on the power of indigenous and nature-based poets, participants will learn strategies to transform writing classrooms into sanctuaries.
